Acting With Mark Harmon

“Shadow Of A Doubt” starring Mark Harmon, was filmed in Sonoma County, California back in 1991. At the time, I had an agent who helped me to get onto many film and television projects like this.

The female lead, “Charlie” after her evil uncle of the same name, and I portrayed her boyfriend, and drove the beautiful old car in the scene where I drop her off at the fairgrounds.

Although my part was small, I enjoyed working on the film with Mark, who was incredibly dedicated to his craft even then. He was very kind to me and invited me into his trailer to talk about his experiences with the great Elizabeth Taylor, whom he worked with on the film, “Sweet Bird of Youth” (also known as Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth), a 1989 American made-for-television drama film directed by Nicolas Roeg, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Mark Harmon.

Mark Harmon is an American actor, writer, producer, television director and former football player. He is perhaps best known for playing the lead role of Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS.

The video above includes the two clips from the film I was in. I’m in the car’s driver’s seat and just to the right of the soldier in brown as it pans to the right. I’m wearing a black coat, and a white shirt.
